What is wildflour?

Philosophy:

Food that feeds the soul.
At Wildflour, we believe in providing our customers with quality products; whether theyare following a vegan lifestyle, trying to avoid certain ingredients because of allergies, or
simply enjoy our selection of food and drinks.

Veganism:

veg·an (adj): using or containing no animal meat or animal byproducts, including and not
limited to meat, fish, dairy, eggs, honey, and gelatin.
Wildflour is 100% free of animal byproducts.

Philanthropy:

We believe strongly in the importance of supporting our community. Every month, we
choose a worthy local organization to coordinate with in order to help the most
vulnerable members of the community. Every Monday throughout the month, we donate
5% of our sales to these organizations. Helping to ease the suffering of those in need is
an essential part of what makes us who we are. We are proud of the role we play in our
community. We also strive to support local businesses, and are proud to partner with
New Harvest Coffee Roasters, Farmacy Herbs, Virginia & Spanish Nut, Johnny’s Produce, and 2 Friends Farm.

We are very conscious of the impact that businesses can have on the environment, and
strive to reduce our carbon footprint through various initiatives: one of these initiatives is
composting. We participate in worm composting, setting aside the compostable material
(juicing pulp, fruit peels and skins, etc) in buckets which are picked up by the RI Worm
Farmers Cooperative. Wildflour is committed to reducing our environmental footprint by
exploring new methods of reducing waste.
