A vegan bakery produces baked goods without the use of dairy, eggs, honey, or any other animal byproduct.
What is a kosher bakery?
The word kosher means to satisfy the requirements of the Jewish laws written in the Torah, which dictate how food is cooked, eaten and sold. Our kosher certification was grated by Rabbi Barry of Lighthouse Kosher.
Do you always have the same pastries?
Although we have some signature breakfast pastries and desserts that will always be available, many of our items rely on seasonal fruits and therefore rotate several times a year. Our baking team also loves to get creative and mix things up from time to time. If you’ve got your heart set on something specific, call ahead to check on what we have available that day, or check our online ordering menu.
Do you deliver?
No, at this time we do not deliver. But we’re always growing, so keep an eye out- that may be an available service sometime in the future.
Can I order ahead?
We take cake orders and some large quantity pastry orders with 48 hours notice. Check our Special Orders page for more information.
Are you a gluten free bakery?
While we have a large variety of gluten free items, we are not a gluten free facility. We are very careful to keep things as contamination-free as possible, but cross-contamination is always a possibility that you should be aware of.
What does cold-press mean?
Cold-press refers to juice made using a hydraulic press that uses thousands of pounds of pressure to extract the juice. Using the press instead of other juicing methods ensures that no nutrients are lost from the heat used in other juicing methods and the pasteurization process.
Are your baked goods sugar-free?
While we do have options free from processed sugar, almost all of our baked goods have some form of sweetener. Some baked goods use only agave or maple syrup, some use cane sugar- but most of the baked goods contain sugar in some form.
Do you have lunch options?
We have a Grab & Go that is stocked with pre-packaged options along with a few other seasonal options made daily. Check the menu for more information.
I have severe allergies- can I safely eat at your bakery?
We are uniquely able to cater to those who have egg and/or dairy allergies because we never use those items in our bakery. If you have a nut allergy, you should be aware that we do make items that contain nuts. We are very conscious of cross-contamination, and keep things as separate as possible. But if the allergy is very serious, you need to be aware that we’re not a nut-free or gluten-free facility and make the decision that’s best for you.
